A huge number of immigrants are experiencing challenges since arriving in Canada some of which include finding an adequate job, learning a new language, adapting to new culture and the weather, financial constraints, lack of social interaction, discrimination, amongst other (StatCan Longitudinal Survey of Immigrants to Canada, 2005).
